3-tråds Strikkegarn is a 3-ply carded wool yarn made from 100% Norwegian wool. With 3-strands the yarn is truly durable and hard-wearing. Strikkegarn creates airy, warm and durable garments. This yarn is mainly used for traditional color-work sweaters and cardigans, but also works well for single color garments and textured knits. Strikkegarn is one of Rauma's oldest yarn lines and has been available since 1927.

Rauma is proud to offer 100% Norwegian products. 3-tråds Strikkegarn is produced at the Rauma factory in beautiful Romsdal where the wool is carded, twisted, spun, washed, dyed and balled for use by hand knitters and crocheters around the world.

Norwegian wool is especially well-known for it's good durability, flexibility and elasticity. It is spun of carded wool giving the wool the ideal balance between funtionality and comfort. The result is a light, airy and user friendly garment that will last a lifetime.

Rauma 3-tr. Strikkegarn is a DK weight, 100% Norwegian Wool yarn.
It is great for mittens, hats, and outdoor garments (Think Norwegian ski sweaters).
It is available in a wide range of 63 colors.
