Vandre is a 100% Norwegian Wool yarn, with 50% of the wool coming from Norwegian White-Tailed sheep and the other 50% coming from Spælsau sheep.
50 g = 120 meters
The long fibers of the Spælsau make the yarn more durable. Therefore, Vandre, is particularly suitable for socks, hiking wear and work wear.
Items knit using the Vandre should be washed before use. Wash in the machine at 40 degrees Celcius on a cycle that lasts no longer than 1 hour. This helps the fibers to "settle", which increases the wear resistance and makes the garment more dirt-repellent. In addition, it makes the socks softer and more fluffy!
